xTensor Capital Limited is a London-based firm being established as an investment adviser, specialising in early-stage artificial intelligence: the infrastructure that makes intelligence available, and the applications built on top of it.
xTensor Capital is being established to provide research and investment advice on artificial intelligence: the companies building the infrastructure and applications of AI at the earliest commercial stages. That specialisation is the whole of our expertise, and it is where we concentrate our research.
The firm is founder-led and based in London. Its work is primary research: technical diligence, market mapping, and direct engagement with founders and operators, carried out by the principals themselves rather than delegated or bought in.
Advising on investments is a regulated activity in the United Kingdom. xTensor Capital is working towards conducting regulated advisory activity in conjunction with firms authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and does not carry on any regulated activity today.

Artificial intelligence is becoming an industrial input. The value accrues in two places: the layers that produce and serve intelligence, and the software that turns it into an outcome a customer will pay for.
Early-stage AI cannot be assessed from a deck. It requires reading the code, running the product, understanding the unit economics of compute, and knowing which technical claims are load-bearing. That work does not scale with headcount, so the firm is deliberately small.
